a tintype photograph is a photograph obtained by making a direct positive on a thin sheet of metal with a dark lacquer or enamel coating and used as a photographic emulsion support. The steps I did to create my tintype image in Pixlr was easy. I chose the photo I wanted to use and first I chose a effect/filter to help give a vintage effect. I then went ahead to make the photo on the warm side to make the photo look older then I chose a border, the border I chose gave a nice overlay to make the photo look scratched as if it were old.

                          Social Issue Poster 

                   Ever since the pandemic started I took the time to educate myself on big issues that have been going on.  One of the issues I learned about was abortion. I never realized how much of a big issue it was. Before learning about abortion and how there was pro choice and pro life, I never shared my opinion on abortion because I didn’t know much and I didn’t want my opinion to affect others. One day, a friend asked me what are my thoughts on abortion. And well I didn’t know how to answer so I said I am in between. What I meant by this was I am okay with it and I am also not okay with it. I grew up around a society where abortion was never okay but of course I also have my own opinion so I stuck with both sides of abortion. Until I found out about pro choice and pro life, I automatically knew I was pro choice. I wouldn’t get an abortion myself but I would never put my beliefs onto others. I will support them because it’s their body and it’s their choice, there’s always a reason to abortion but that isn’t anyone’s business because it can be a sensitive topic for an individual. My friend and my mom influenced my decision of being pro choice. My mom has always said she wouldn’t get an abortion but she would never stop anyone else because it’s their business and they have a reason. My friend influenced me because she was the one to ask me a question that I was never asked so it really got me thinking. Pro life is the “flip side” of this issue. Many pro life people think abortion shouldn’t be legalized and they pressure others who are heading to have an abortion. They put their negative opinions onto others. I can see their point of view but then again what does it matter to them. It isn’t their body and they don’t know the reason to why a person may be getting an abortion. I chose to stand with pro choice because I don’t ever want to be asked the question again and be unprepared of what to say because I don’t know much about the topic. I don’t want my opinions to affect others in a negative way. It’s their body and their choice and the most I can do is support. My poster is intended to offend the pro life people and the men who think they have the right share there negative opinions on abortion. If you do not have a uterus then do not share your opinion because you have no idea what women go through, especially with pregnancy. I have the right to offend anyone, if someone gets mad about it then that’s good because they were my target. I believe I got my point across. I provided a definition for those who don’t know what pro choice is and I everything else seems to be clear and my point stands out. I think the interesting part is the body with the words on it because it really catches my attention.

  2. The product is a pair of Nike air force 1 ’07 LX.
  3. The target is any age group who likes shoes. 
  4. I would expect to see this advertisement outside of a shoe store.
  5. I will use my iPhone camera. 
  6. I will use colored backgrounds I found on google to give color to the image and act as strobe lights.
